I have many years of experience taking care of dogs. My family and extended family all have dogs, and, frankly, I wouldn't consider dog-sitting as a job since it's so interesting and fun. I currently own a miniature Australian Shepherd, and he is the love of my life. He is a very energetic and hyper boy, however, I am as well so an athletic dog for me is no problem at all. I love all breeds and all sizes.
