Don't be anxious! I have your back.

Pet care experience

**Currently hosting cats in my home** If you're reading this, you're probably similar to me and absolutely stressing out and anxious about the idea of leaving your fur baby. As a fur parent, I know the struggle. I know the feelings of guilt and anxiety, wondering if they are okay, if they'll be okay -- but let me assure you, I HAVE YOUR BACK and your baby is absolutely safe with me. My pet sitting experience goes back a few decades now. I remember my first sitting experience was with my neighbors border collie, Brandy. That job gave me a sense of ownership and responsibility. I learned the value of companionship, the love of a pet, and what it means to care for an animal. Since, I have always been a lover of all furry (and hairless) pets. Absolutely love them all. A little about me: I work full time -- Monday through Friday. I have weekends and and Holidays off. I work less than a mile from home and my entire apartment is under surveillance, so that I can monitor what happens there when I'm not home. (Im not crazy, I promise) When someone else's baby is my responsibility, I prioritize accordingly. Rest assured. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat of my own. The cat thinks she's a dog and the two dogs think they are giant cats. I actually clean her litterbox regularly ;) **It should be noted that your animal will not be a lone pet in the home** I always put your pet's things in their own room, separated from the rest of the home. My animals LOVE other pets. Feel free to check out my photos for proof :) I have 2 bedrooms. 1 of which is mainly dedicated to giving them their own space (No, that wasn't planned when deciding on where to live, haha). I cook for my animals. Gives them something different, rather than kibble. Usually high protein and veggies. If your pet has a special diet, I am happy to abide by that. Drop-Ins: If I am checking in on your animals in your home every now and again, your house will be in the same condition you left it (or better). I believe in cleanliness. I have a clean background (and for those that care -- my background is checked annually for work). I am certified in Human CPR and First Aid via the American Heart Association. I am also an instructor for the State of Hawaii. I have taken animal CPR and first aid classes If I am walking your dog -- he/she will be worn out and content. Please discuss any preparations beforehand. I am great at following directions. Dog Walking: I can handle dogs of any size and weight (please inform me if your dog is the size equivalent to a lion or grizzly bear though). I will not transport your dog in my vehicle for any reason, unless medically necessary. All walks will take place at or near your home. I believe in the leash law and I pickup after all dogs, every time. Boarding: If your cat is staying with me, I am happy to assist with transport if you aren't available/able to do so. My animals are not aggressive towards other animals in any way. If you'd like for your pet to be kept separate, I can arrange for that with ease (yay for extra bedrooms). I will provide you with photos, daily. If you have any special requests, concerns, comments, please let me know. My goal is to always provide owners with a positive and stress free experience. My hope is that when I leave my pets with someone, they would treat them, as I treat your pets.

Aloha - I left my cat, Myla with Kris for a weekend (Friday evening through Monday afternoon). I requested that Myla be in her own space because I wasn't sure how she would react to other animals. Kris kept me updated on her status and on Sunday morning I asked if she would slowly introduce Myla to other animals (I'm considering getting another cat). Kris sent me pictures of my cat in her own space, separated by a baby gate. It was great. I would definitely leave Myla with Kris again.

Kris watched my cat while I traveled to Las Vegas, with VERY short notice. I was in such a rush that all I remembered to provide was her litterbox. Kris assured me that it wasn't an issue and as long as my cat wasn't picky with food, she would happily share her cats food. I was a bit hesitant about leaving my cat in a home with two dogs, but Kris said she could separate the animals if necessary. Kris even sent me photos of all the animals together! After one week, I came back home to a happy and healthy cat. Would absolutely recommend Kris's services!
