Hello! My name is Kris and I've been taking care of pets and animals my whole life. I started learning how to raise and take care of dogs specifically when I was around 7 years old, when my parents brought home a black lab puppy for my brothers and I. This gave me the opportunity to learn how to handle a stubborn, completely untrained, and high energy puppy, which was a great thing to get the hang of at an early age. This has been invaluable throughout all my dog walking and pet sitting experiences over the years. I've been volunteering with the SPCA as a Dog Handler for about a year now and have handled many hounds and medium sized dogs as well as some pitbulls and shown them at various adoption events. Also, I volunteer at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria and work with dogs of all sizes (from 7 pound dogs to ones that are well over 100 pounds), energy levels, and various levels of socialization (from shy to VERY friendly dogs and some that are a bit aggressive).
