Please message me and I'll connect with you via email :) --------------------------------- SUMMARY: My husband and I are life-long animal lovers and have had dogs or cats most of our lives. We have none of our own right now. We’ve been DogVacay/Rover hosts since Dec 2014 and have really enjoyed all the new furry friends we’ve made! I work from home full time so dogs are very rarely left alone. Dogs that come to stay with us are treated like family. We love dogs of any age and do take puppies. Daily photo updates are sent to you through the Rover app. --------------------------------- MY CALENDAR: Please check my calendar, I work hard to keep it up to date for everyone. If my calendar say "unavailable", those are dates I am LIKELY traveling and/or not able to take pups BUT.... Often the last day marked "unavailable" in a stretch of days may still be ok for drop offs. (Sorry this is a little confusing! It's a software limitation with Rover) For example, if I have a limit of 3 dogs and they are all going home the morning of July 5th, it will show me as "unavailable" on July 5th. So if you were to need to drop off your dog(s) ON July 5th, please message me to see if that would still be possible before trying to book. --------------------------------- OUR HOME: We live in a single family home with a deck and a large, flat fenced in yard. We limit our Rover boarding/daycare limits to try and maintain a non-stressful environment for your pup(s) and give all them all TONS of attention. Dogs can hang out wherever they would like. They are welcome on our couch, in our office, in our bedroom and are welcome to sleep on our bed too if they prefer. --------------------------------- FOR THOSE WITH YOUNG PUPPIES: I do have many very sweet repeat client pups that are great helpers for socializing if you have a puppy you want to expose to time with other dogs :) --------------------------------- VACCINATION/HEALTH REQUIREMENTS: All dogs must be up to date on all recommended shots and puppies must have had their first bordetella injection at least 2 weeks prior to their stay. Any dog that has been exposed to kennel cough or is exhibiting signs must stay home. --------------------------------- KENNEL USAGE: If dogs are free-roam when you are away from home, they will have the same comforts here if we need to leave the house. If we do need to run out and leave the dogs alone, they will either be kenneled (if they are crate trained) or will be separated from dogs from other families via doors/gates for safety reasons. For dogs that kennel at night or when left alone at home, we do have 4 wire kennels available so you will not need to bring yours unless you feel they would be more comfortable in their own. --------------------------------- PAYMENTS/REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS: Payments through Rover are completed up front but don't worry! I have a flexible refund policy set so you can get a full refund up to 24 hours before your pup's stay if anything changes. --------------------------------- We try hard to make sure all guest dogs will have a fun, relaxing and often spoiled time while in our home! If they are allowed treats, I usually have plenty to share every day :) We would love to meet and help care for your dog! Please send us a message with any questions/concerns you have and I am usually able to respond very quickly. I am only accepting pups up to around 40lbs that are very good with other dogs. I do have some larger dogs that are very sweet and have been "grandfathered in" but I find my setup and equipment is best suited to care for smaller dogs.
