Like most people, I've grown up with animals. However over the last 6 years I have intermittently fostered for dog rescues, volunteered for rescues and sanctuaries in various capacities that trained me in proper animal handling etiquette, and self-educated in photography to capture flattering images of the animal subject. My husband and I are the only residents in our house, and we have experience in fostering a wide range of ages, breeds, and sizes. We have even helped a husky whelp a litter of puppies! We have one dog of our own that is desensitized to sharing her household- our house has had a revolving door for foster dogs so she is accustomed to having canine company! We have safely conducted countless dog intros, but don't worry if you have a dog that is uncomfortable with ours- we have the space and ability to keep them separate if necessary. I am a Homemaker so I have the flexibility to stay home as often as I need. I let the dogs out for potty breaks and playtime all throughout the day. I also live only a couple blocks away from a trail, which the dogs love! If you choose me to babysit your pup(s), you can expect prompt and clear communication, daily updates if desired (I LOVE giving updates but I understand if you're on vacation and want a break from your phone!), and definitely expect photos of your pup living it up!
