Pet care experience
I have a wide range of experience with dogs from puppy stage to senior dogs. I currently have a lab puppy, and cared for my last dog until she passed at 15. I love dog training, but do not have professional knowledge. I will always be patient, present, and show your animals or home the upmost respect.

Kourtney was very warm and friendly when we chatted, and it made me feel very comfortable about leaving my fur baby in her care while I was out of town. She took the time to give my cat all the attention she needed, and I felt happy knowing my cat was getting lots of love.
Kourtney is wonderful with Gertie! Top notch and prompt communication, she’s warm and easy to work with. It’s evident that Kourtney sincerely wants to share her time and love with animals :)
Kourtney was incredibly helpful and accommodating when I had to make multiple changes to the timing. Unfortunately she had to cancel halfway through, but she was good at communicating the situation and keeping me informed. Would definitely use her again in the future!
Kourtney was awesome. She sent super great pictures of my baby. I would have her help out again in a heartbeat.

When meeting a new pup I always move slowly and speak softly, get down on their level and make them feel safe with me before anything else. I love finding creative ways to use brain stimulation, training, and puzzles for dogs. I will always give your pup tons of snuggles, and baths anytime necessary.

Energy level, any behavioral or aggression issues, bark level (so I can know if seeing other humans or pups will trigger them). Any training they have been taught. And their favorite treats and snacks! I often make my own.
A typical day
I spend lots of time on the Blue Ridge Parkway hiking and walking trails, exploring the rivers and foraging. Multiple walks a day, while incorporating mental stimulation and training.

I work part-time, and have a very open schedule. Mon/Wed/Fri I am unavailable after 5pm. I am an early riser and love to be outside.
