I have owned dogs my entire life and have experience with dogs big and small. I currently work from home full time so your dog will rarely be home alone, aside from an occasional trip to the grocery store & back. My wife and I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. Our dogs are very friendly and our entire house is very pet-friendly. Our two cats tend to mind their own business and don't pay too much attention to the dogs. One of our dogs, Harley, can get very anxious in new places so we absolutely understand the importance of trusting the person taking care of your pups to care for them and love them while their family is away. We have a 1.5 year old son and we've taught him to be gentle with our dogs and our dogs are great with him! With that said, he sometimes gets a little too excited and can get up in their face so your dog needs to be okay with kids around. We have a fully fenced backyard and a great neighborhood for going on walks! We are happy to let your dogs sleep with us, on the couches, dog beds, or if your dog is more comfortable in a crate when they're in a new space, we have plenty of room for that as well. We have tons of dog toys and balls to play with - bonus points if your dog can teach our lazy pups how to fetch ;) We are happy to send along pictures and videos while you are away and you can trust that we will take amazing care of your four legged family members!
