Pet care experience
Willing to take care of most any dogs of all shapes and sizes, while watching your home. I love all animals but am most fond of dogs :) Although I grew up with cats, I am not generally a cat person unless they are super chill/nice. My grandparents owned a pet store in Alameda when I was younger called "The Living Picture" and I had to feed/water all the animals, so I do have the experience, but I'd say more recently it's just been dogs and the occasional cat. Just let me know what you have, and I'll let you know my comfort level. :) I am willing to travel outside of my area (Dorrington/Big Trees) for pet sitting but would like to keep dog walking and drop-ins to my general area of Big Trees/Arnold/Murphys. If you do not live in those areas, then it would be a 1 hour minimum for all walking & drop-in services.

Kortney has taken care of our dog Lester several times now, both short stays and multiple week stays. Lester is a high maintenance senior dog so not always easy but Kortney has taken great care of him.
Kortney was right on time. Friendly and took to Daisy fast. Played ball with Daisy and enjoyed her.
We were last minute but Kortney was able to accommodate and take great care of our boy.

While pet/house sitting I will walk and play with your fur-baby(s) as much as they like or can handle. I will also send photos to you on a daily basis! I am willing to do other things like pick up dog poop in your yard (if that is where they go), bring in mail, water plants, etc. My rates are set for everyday animals and not 'special needs', so if your doggie or cat needs special attention or has behavioral issues then my rate would go up and reflect the amount of extra care or attention your fur baby requires.

A typical day
I love to be outdoors so I will spend a lot of time w/ your doggie outside. Walking, playing, throwing the ball, going to the local park and much more! Of course, all of this is depending on the amount of exercise your doggie likes or can handle. The older ones I will give a lot of love and 'pets' to make up for the lack of exercise or time spent with them walking/playing.
