The love I have for animals is something that was naturally instilled in me from a young age, and I find animal friendships extremely special & fulfilling. As a dog dad myself, I know how challenging it can be to spend time away from my pup. During your furbaby’s stay, you will be kept up to date through pictures and videos of your little-one’s vacation, and I will make myself available to you at any time needed. Raising a furbaby can come with unexpected challenges, but being the previous owner of two wonderful pups, I am knowledgeable and well equipped to provide the special attention all animals need.

Kids was super nice and friendly! This was our first time out of town and no sitter, so I wasn't sure what to do. A friend told me about Rover, and it was a better experience than I could've imagined! Kody was tentative to my pups and cats. He replied to my messages quick, and professional. I live in an apartment complex in San Marcos, where there are plenty of side-walks to roam, large grass fields nearby to explore, and even a bark park! I currently live with my girlfriend, Alexa, who also works for Rover, and our furbaby, Sunshine, who is a 14 year old chiweenie and is nothing short of amazing! She usually keeps to herself, but she does well around other dogs and really enjoys other company, naps, and plenty of play time.

I understand that dogs communicate the best they know how, especially when they’re in an unfamiliar environment. I appreciate any notice when dealing with pups who can be aggressive with humans or with other dogs; being that I reside in an area with other college students potentially owning dogs of their own. I aim to provide the warmest welcome and stay for all pups awaiting the return of their owners—in doing so, advising me on if your furbaby has special preferences to eat, sleep, play, or potty is very much appreciated.
A typical day
While I’m watching over your furbaby, I can assure that between Alexa and myself, your furbaby will receive plenty of love and attention—we are major animal lovers! Between our previous and current dog, we have collected quite a selection of chew toys and squeakers that may appear as doggy-heaven to your little one! Their vacation will include plenty of play-time, cuddles, and remarkable care.
