Pet care experience
I like to build relationships of trust and love with all the dogs I meet! I have experience walking/caring for a variety of breeds and dog personalities, and feel confident in my abilities. I have extensive experience working with shelter dogs from my time as an MSPCA volunteer in Boston, specializing in the dog rescues, and helped with feedings, cleaning, and socializing the dogs on the adoption floor. I have also fostered a dog in my home for a month, helping him recuperate from a fractured leg and find his forever home!

Klara has watched my dog twice now and Laney absolutely loves her! She sends pictures of Laney every morning and evening to let me know how she’s doing and it keeps my mind at ease.
Loved having Klara watch Laney all weekend! She sent me pictures throughout the day and Laney was a happy pup. Even rebooked her for another upcoming weekend before the weekend was even up!
Klara is a LIFE SAVER. She promptly responds and has been available on short notice and has been able to schedule a week or two in advance as well. She’s great, my dog loves her and I would recommend her to all!
Klara did a great job of looking after my dog Moe, my crotchety old cat, and my home. She left the house as clean (or cleaner?) than it was left and sent plenty of photo updates during her stay. Will definitely book with Klara again!

Safety always comes first. I make sure to follow all your instructions regarding walking your dog, and make sure to avoid other dogs if your pup prefers to be left alone. For boarders, I share a large home with my partner that is dog-proofed, and your dog is free to roam inside!

I like medium to big dogs best, and love spending time with high-energy dogs that need a lot of attention and exercise, but mellow or small dogs are great too. I'd like to know what kind of personality your dog has!
A typical day
I like going to parks or quieter parts of the neighborhood. I am an avid runner and love running with dogs that are high-energy, but also love hanging out with dogs that are older or more sedentary; I'm always okay with chilling out at home with them on the couch!

I am currently a student at Texas Law with a few hours of class each day--I come home to have lunch and to study when class is over, so I'll have ample time to hang with your pup in the afternoons and evenings!
