Dog Trainers Kittery and Joshua, are opening their home and securely fenced yard to your furry family while you're away! Our daycare services are exceptional, and will provide the mental and physical stimulation you pet needs during the day. Why leave your dogs stuck in a kennel, when you can leave them in the capable hands of locally recognized trainers and care-takers. They will have a comfortable home to enjoy, grass to roll in, and the one-on-one attention they need to grow and thrive while you're away. Your pet is NEVER kenneled, with the exception of the rare occasion when I am out of the house, or at night if necessary. (I.e. puppies, dogs that are not house broken or dogs who have destructive tendencies.) I have been training dogs for 8 years. I am well rounded in all aspects of K9 behavior, and know just how to help each individual grow and thrive. I know how important every event is, and one ill prepared home trying to care for your pet while your away could instill very bad behaviors or associations in the mind of your pet! Their time away should be like summer camp - fun, but full of opportunities to grow and learn under the careful guidance and monitor of experienced, capable individuals. In addition to my experience as a trainer, I have worked as a foster, in rescue programs, and as a groomer as well as administered shots and medication. I have all tools on hand to satisfy any need, and the experience to handle unexpected emergencies. I have a modest fenced in back yard for the dogs to enjoy. Our fence is 4 feet tall, wooden slatted and lined with buried welded chain. There is no escapees here, big or small. No unattended outdoor play is permitted. Administering medication, shots, or topical treatments is not a problem. I have a high level of experience caring for dogs with disabilities, and dogs who have additional special needs.

Kittery is a wonderful doggie caregiver! She went above and beyond the call of duty to take care of our old girl. The moment I met her, I knew everything was going to be great. Kittery is warm, compassionate, patient and dedicated to loving and building relationships with four-legged friends. In my next life, I want to be a dog in a family like Kittery's!!!
We have five highly energetic dogs. Kittery and her "staff" took care of them for us on a busy weekend. We got them back slightly tired but in great shape. Knowledge ***** Care ***** Communication ***** The most important members of our family gave the highest marks of all. When it was time to go, the dogs actually seemed to want to stay. That is until they saw the car. ;) I would recommend Kittery to anyone, any size dog. She's got what it takes to make us feel secure about who's watching the kids. Thank you guys. And somebody pet the cat for me. I think we became friends.
This was a great stay for my 2 dogs, Janet & Roxy. They were taken such good care of. I don't want anyone but Kittery to take care of them. She is amazing and such a loving pet person . They love staying there because of the attention that is given to them. I could never ask for anything better for them.

Our primary concern is compatibility of guests in our daycare program. Typically questions are based on the profile of the owner, and may include; Age, breed, health issues, veterinary release information, behavioral challenges, marking, spay/neuter, schedule, exercise and lifestyle requirements, etc.
A typical day
Our neighborhood provides excellent sights and smells for your friend. My dog and I enjoy a structured walk regularly, and your pup is welcome to join us! We believe exercise and regular structure is the key to a happy, well behaved home - and our guests will be expected to join in. (Both in being happy, and well behaved!) Our route varies from day to day, but no one seems to mind. During the summer when the pavement is too hot for puppy feet we spend time walking in the grass at the local park, just a couple blocks from my home. In extreme heat, more vigorous and structured indoor activities are substituted in place of outdoor walks. Quiet Time: We schedule 2 "quiet time" breaks throughout the day. If your friend is sufficiently housebroken, and well behaved, he/she will be permitted to sleep wherever he/she chooses. We don't permit pups on the furniture - but do have a comfy dog bed available. In the event that he/she is not reliably housebroken, or likes to get into things they shouldn't, we have kennels that will be used as necessary.
