When it comes to dogs, I do not have many preferences and am capable of taking care of multiple dogs at once. Whether fluffy or slick-haired, large or small, intense licker or calm cuddler - I love them all! I take pride in providing the best care possible for dogs and want to ensure that their safety and happiness are respected. Thus, prior to caring for your dog, I would like to know all the characteristics or details that would help me provide care. The following are examples of the type of information I would request: • Overall health status of your dog(s) • Medication and/or special diets • Typical schedule for the dog • Rules or precautions – Ex: Requesting that the dog does not jump on the furniture • Temperament and behavior – Ex: Do you walk your dog, or does your dog tend to lead the way? • Etc. If you have any special requests, please let me know. No request is too odd or silly when it comes to caring for your pup! I also want my clients to feel comfortable sharing the maybe not-so-great characteristics about their dog(s). Again, your pet’s well-being is a top priority so I want to make sure I am well informed and know what to expect prior to care. Does your dog love to chew on shoes as a midday snack? Is your pup a pro athlete and likes to jump even the tallest of fences? Please tell me all about it. My family German Shepard is a master of escape, so I completely understand the occasional stresses a furry friend can grant to you sometimes. I am unfortunately unable to host dogs in my apartment due to pet policies within my lease; however, my goal is to be a respectful guest when I'm within your home, while at the same time allowing your dog to feel safe on their own turf by acting like family.
