Hi pet parents, My name is Kisha, I'm a professional animal lover and I can't wait to meet your pets! My love for animals started at a young age when I started volunteering at local animal shelters at age 11 and I have been caring for animals ever since. I went to college for Animal Husbandry and I have worked in animal shelters, pet stores (that did not sell puppies or kittens), doggy day cares and I was even a zookeeper for several years, so I am comfortable looking after not only dogs but also cats, birds, reptiles and small animals. I am comfortable not only walking dogs, but also giving medications, cleaning litter boxes, changing potty pads etc. I personally have 2 dogs, a Catahoula named Ravi and mixed named Juno, 2 cats Smeegle and Osprey and 6 chickens who have names but I won't list them all here. I hoping to stay true to the moto "Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life". Well spending my days with animals is what I truly love doing. So if you are looking for someone with lots of animal experience to take care of your pets while you are away I would be more than happy be there for you and your furry (or feathery) friend. * I only work in Illinois

I don't have any breed restrictions. I would like to know important things like if your dog is on any medication, if they have any allergies or other medical condition like diabetes or seizures. I would want to know if they are shy or aggressive or if they have situational aggression such as kennel aggression, leash aggression, food aggression or toy possessive. I would also like to know if they have any fears, such as fear of rain/thunder, men, small children or bicycles, how they get along with other dogs and cats, or any other behaviors or medical issues that might be important to keep your pet happy and safe.
A typical day
I love going for walks and exploring. I am not originally from Illinois so what better way to discover a new place than by walking it's streets and neighborhoods with a furry friend. If your dog is the more outdoorsy type I have found some nice wooded trails that are fun to explore. I also have a good arm so if your dog likes to play fetch I can do that too.
