I never had the opportunity to grow up with a dog, but I would like to care for them! Through the years I've been entrusted by friends and co-workers to house/dog sit for them - providing services for four different families on multiple occasions. Right now, I am at home full time and have a flexible schedule. The house I live in has a spacious backyard that would be more than comfortable for a dog to run around in. Does your dog like to run? Because I do! I have completed a handful of half marathons and would love to get back into running this season with a partner. There is also a great park 2 blocks away from me that many neighbors frequent with their dogs. My longtime partner lives close by with his two daughters, so they often come to visit. If your dog likes kids, these girls would love to play with him/her too! There are also two cats that live in the bottom floor of my house. They are my brother's cats (I'm allergic) but I often care for them when he is out of town or running late at work. If a dog were to stay over, it would be on the top floor, separate from the cats.
