My boyfriend, Brandon, and I have an adorable dachshund/sheltie mix named Benedict that we have loved dotingly for the last 7 years. We both have grown up with dogs and have been around animals our whole life. We take our pup to the dog park frequently as well as long walks in our neighborhood or on hikes. While I work during the week, Brandon works from home so the pups are rarely left alone. Your furry animal would have access to numerous BarkBox toys that our own woofer has not been able to keep up with! We are also happy to bathe and brush your fur pet. We love to cuddle on the sofa and on the bed with our Benedict and hopefully your dog too! We know that leaving your pup behind is hard, I'm not gonna lie, I shed a tear or two when we have to leave Benedict so we're more than happy to take numerous videos and snaps to send your way.

Kirsty and her husband boarded my fur baby Lambo while I was out of town recently for 5 nights. The care they gave to my Lambo was extraordinary. Kirsty provided several updates daily, along with photos that showed just how much fun Lambo was having. Their own dog, Benedict was also an amazing host...he was so sweet and kind to Lambo and they enjoyed playing together. Benedict was so gentle with Lambo and really helped make Lambo feel at home by sleeping with him and not leaving his side. The updates I received from Kirsty were very detailed and put my mind totally at ease. I would definitely rebook Kirsty in the future.
Another fabulous stay for Sadie. These Rover Sitters go above and beyond in a big way. They always treat Sadie like one of their own—with such care and attention. Speaking of Benedict, he’s always a kind and fun host for Sadie to sunbathe with. I’m so happy I found these three on Rover!! Can’t say enough great things.
Sadie’s second stay with this lovely Rover fam was just as fun! Lots of great updates, photos, and feedback about her day to day activities (she’s a napping pro). I would highly recommend Kirsty and Brandon to anyone with a dog who would get along well with the most hospitable Benedict!

I make sure to always keep you updated while you’re away from your furbabe. We keep a close eye on all dogs staying with us and make sure they get plenty of love and care. Your dog will spend time with Benedict, our pup, who is easy going and mostly spends the day snoozing away on the sofa.

A typical day
We can go on walks anywhere, your neighborhood, mine or we can go and roam around Prospect Park. We also have plenty of toys to engage your dog while you are away and we can play frisbee or catch outside in the backyard.

Availability
I work in SoHo Mon-Fri, but Brandon works from home, so there will always be someone to keep your pup company. We give Benedict 3 walks a day, morning, midday, and evening, but we’re happy to offer more or less for yours as needed.
