Hi, My husband, two children, and I moved to America from England two years ago for my husband's work. I have owned dogs throughout my life so as soon as we arrived we adopted our dog, Cooper, from a rescue center. As I'm sure you can imagine, Cooper is now the most important person in our family, running round the house/garden like crazy and generally keep us all busy! Cooper loves playing with other dogs and as I'm at home full time I decided I'd like to start doing some dog walking or boarding to keep him company and keep me busy while the kids are at school! We don't have a gated yard (yet!) but have a big basement that the dogs (and kids!) can play in, and they are welcome everywhere on the ground floor too. As Cooper isn't allowed upstairs for overnight stays you can either bring a crate or a doggie bed and we'll let them snuggle up together. As the kids and Cooper will be around all the time, we'd need to make sure your dog would get along with them though of course!
