Pet care experience
I always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian as a child and had many furry friends growing up. I was fortunate enough to enter a program in high school that allowed me to gain the experience and job as a veterinary technician. This also led to unsupervised weekend kennel duties and pet sitting outside of the work place. I understand the importance of pet health and want to care for them so you may be stress free. From puppies still in training to seniors who require medical attention, my attention to detail and knowledge makes me perfect for the job!

Kirstin is absolutely fabulous! Our dogs instantly loved her and get so excited to see her. I love reading the Rover cards from her visits and she sends great photos! I feel like my kiddos are happy and safe with her.

As I do have three small children it would require case by case for in home care, but I am available to help in your home with frequent drop in visits as well. I have one young, medium sized, dog friendly, dog and two dog friendly cats. My home is set to keep the cats separate if needed though. My dog is crate trained and I understand keeping a routine if you provide a crate of your own. I have an enclosed rock wall fence with a gravel backyard. If it’s just that your work hours have you away too long during the day, I can do daily visits, walks, or a doggie day care type of environment.

I have had pets myself that have required visits to the vet for treatments, so if this is something needed while you are away we can discuss what is best for their continued health.
A typical day
Access to indoors is important as the temperature rises and the monsoon season starts. Early activity and evenings are best as we can either play with the many toys in the yard or go for a nice stroll through the neighborhood. Inside, we can roll around on the easy to clean open floor or just enjoy each other’s company

Availability
I’ve made a recent career change and this allows me some flexibly in my schedule. I currently have Thursday-Sunday 6am to 9pm but during the school calendar year I will have Monday-Wednesday open some.
