I am a passionate dog lover. Responsible, caring, attentive and experienced in caring for dogs. Living in Glendale, CA I share a large apartment (lots of running and playing space) with my boyfriend and our 2 pups. Max, a 15 LB Rat Terrier mix and Stevie (girl, named after our beloved Stevie Nicks) a 8 LB Chihuahua mix. Both dogs are well socialized and do well with other pups. Dogs staying with us must be friendly with Max and Stevie. We require that any dog staying with us has been given a preventative flea treatment within the last 30 days. I do not take in very young puppies, any dog staying with us must be fully up to date on all vaccinations. This is to ensure the safety of all dogs who stay with us. I work from home, occasionally taking meetings outside the home for a few hours a day. Working from home allows me to give lots of attention to the pups. We go for frequent short walks, on average 5-6 a day. Typically to break up the day from being one long nap, we have 2-3 playtimes full of LOTS of toys. We love to cuddle with the pups on the couches while we lounge. However we prefer all dogs sleep in their own beds, but in our bedroom is okay. Upon leaving the house, I separate all dogs using doors and baby gates, just to ensure the safety of everyone. Dogs that are well behaved and fully potty trained can hang out in their beds while home alone. If need be I have a small dog crate that can be used. We have a large apartment (about 1200 sq ft) with lots of windows. We usually keep the windows open (we are not on the ground floor) with about 5 fans running throughout the house. In case of very hot temps we have 2 rooms with AC.
