Hello, I'm Kirsten! I have been around dogs and cats all of my life. I can't imagine my life without my furry best friends! I am a second-generation Deaf in my family and I am fluent in American Sign Language (ASL). I can communicate effectively with all individuals through writing or typing on Big app on my phone and this does not interfere with my abilities to care for pets whatsoever. I am an elementary teacher and my fiancé works from home. He is home most of the time during the day and I am always home in the evenings during the week. On the weekends, I am typically home. We have two pets of our own, Kira (short-haired Tabby cat) and Surly (Pitbull mix)! We take our dog on walks 3-4 times daily and your dog definitely will tag along when we have your dog under our wing while you are gone! I enjoy taking my dog out for walks, throwing the ball, and going to dog parks. Not only that, I also love being at home and just spending quality time relaxing, cuddling, and playing with our furbabies. We will treat your fur baby as if it is our own and they will be our top priority. We will try to keep to your schedule as much as possible (feeding, potty breaks, outside and playtimes). You will just need to bring your pet's food, kennel, and anything that will make them feel more comfortable while you are away. Also, if you are short on time and live within a 10-mile radius from our home, I can pick up or drop off (on weekends only). My dog, Surly, loves to play with other dogs and he would be a perfect playmate to play with. I am more than happy to bring him along to our Meet and Greet, to see how they get along if you are interested in socializing your dogs. Under my care, I will provide you with daily updates and photos upon request. :) We and Surly look forward to having more furry friends to hang out and go on adventures with!
