Pet care experience
I am experienced with a variety of animals. I have previously been a Doggy Daycare Attendant, an Animal Care Technician at the ARL, and I am currently a Veterinary Assistant. I can administer medications and will clean up after any accidents. I will always put the pet’s safety needs first. I always look forward to spending time with all types of pets. I have experience with blind, deaf, arthritic, and seizure-prone dogs, as well as those with other ailments and medical conditions . I love going on walks and runs with dogs; and playing with them is a wonderful experience. I am very comfortable with handling all sizes of dogs and all energy types of dogs and cats.

Kirsten stayed at our home for 9 days while we were out of state. We have 2 dogs and 1 cat. She did incredible. This was our first time using Rover for an overnight sitter and I couldn’t give Kirsten a better recommendation. She was wonderful. We will be using her again.
Phenomenal as always! Our dog absolutely loves her.
Kristen did a great job with our dog, Cedar, and my parents dog, Spidey, while they are in Italy! Took multiple pictures, responded quickly, and is our new go-to walker!

Due to having no fence and 2 dogs of my own I will not board any pets in my house, unless there is prior discussion, meeting, and all animals are vaccinated and on a parasite prevention. I am more than happy to care for your animals inside their home, where they will be the most comfortable, and least stressed.

A typical day
I love to take dogs to nature trails for a fun adventure. I can provide enrichment with Kongs, Lick Mats, Toppls, Lick mats, and more. I love making special treats too for my furry friends.

Availability
I'm currently a full-time Veterinary Assistant but will have time before work, during lunch, as well as after work to care for your pet. I am also available on weekends, and have the afternoons off on Wednesdays to give extra care and time.
