Crazy for dogs!
Pet care experience
In college, I trained service dogs for veterans. I have had dogs all of my life and love them dearly. I currently have a 3 year old hound mix named Zoe who has required very special care at different points (major bone surgery- 3 month recovery period where I had to carry her everywhere), and took care of a 16 year old senior dog (who was unable to walk or climb stairs) for a year. I am adept at high and special needs care, such as mobility and sense issues, as well as frequent pill administration. I live 200 yards from a park, and a five minute walk from a great dog park with both small and large dog areas! Your dog will be in exceptional hands with me, but might be in danger of being loved too much!

Kirsten did an AMAZING job with our 4 month old standard poodle pup, Cooper. She came in for drop in visits for 2 weeks while my boyfriend was at work and I was out of town. We had JUST adopted our boy a few weeks before, and I felt terrible about leaving so quickly and nervous about overwhelming a sitter with any unexpected responsibilities, such as regressions in his still-incomplete potty training. When Kirsten dropped by to meet us, though, I was quickly put at ease. She was great with Cooper in that first visit, and her drop-in updates exceeded the high expectations her visit set! She really went above and beyond each day, alternating between lively walks, indoor playtime, and mini training sessions. We cannot recommend her enough!
Kirsten is great! Bubbly and energetic. Trixie loved her right away.
