Pet care experience
I have taken care of multiple different breeds of dogs! Small, medium and large! I also have experience with farm animals as well horses, cattle, goats etc. I’ve also had house with combinations of dogs, cats and horses. I’ve also had experience with epileptic dogs as well and having to give medication to pets as well.

This was my first time leaving my dog and cat and Kirsten did an amazing job! She sent tons of pictures and updates while I was gone. She left my house spotless and got the mail while I was gone. I highly recommend Kirsten to watch your fur babies! I’ll definitely ask her to watch mine again in the future!
Kirsten was amazing! Super great with our cats and ducks. She sent pics and videos a ton. She even checked in an additional day just because she was around the area. Great communication! Cats loved her.
Kirsten took good care of our pets. Attended to their many medical needs. Our house was left in great shape. We would without a doubt ask her to watch them again.

I am a very trustworthy pet sitter I have clients that are okay with friends or significant others coming over and I have others who are not, either way I fully respect that clients choice. I always make sure to clean up after myself and make sure the house is clean before leaving. When it comes to the animal I will not push the animal to do anything it does not want to do like going for a car ride, or anything else that may make the pet nervous. I do like to meet the animal and pet parents before hand just to make sure we have a good connection and trust.

If the pet has any medications, dislike or like other animals, dislike children or big groups of people for walk purposes. Any kind of allergies they may have to treat or human food.
A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs on walks, depending on how they are on walks I like to take them down town traverse city, the bay, or around the old state hospital. If it’s a dog that just enjoys being outdoors I’ll sit outside and relax and let them run around or play fetch with them if they enjoy that too! I know lots of trails in traverse city for walks and beaches if they enjoy swimming.

Availability
Although I do not have my own when I am house sitting I make sure to schedule my personal life around the pets I am watching. When pet sitting the pets I am watching are my number one priority. My work schedule during the week I typical work 8-9 hours a day and on the weekends I work I typically work 10-11 hours days. Even with working if the pet requires walks I will make sure they are getting the exercise they need before and after work regardless of the time.
