Pet care experience
I have been a special education high school teacher the past two years and now I am going back to school for social work! This seems to fit my schedule well and I love animals! I grew up around many different animals. I have had dwarf hamsters, Guinea pigs, chickens, and dogs!! I currently have two cats- Cheeto and Veronica!

Kirsten was great with my cat and dog. My dog is very nervous and seemed very happy. It’s so nice she sent pictures at each visit. She is dependable and kind.
Kirsten is AMAZING! Ginny loves going on walks with her and Kirsten is very consistent with her timing each day with taking her out, getting exercise in and making sure she's going potty. She also gives Ginny the opportunity to meet new people and animals that she otherwise might not meet. Kirsten truly seems to enjoy her time with Ginny, too. Also I have no qualms about her having a key to my home to have access to do the walks. I feel she has a good reputation and is building my trust week after week.
Ginny has looked Kirsten from day one and Ginny is finicky about who she lets into her life. Kirsten is kind and gentle with her, letting her move at her own pace. Kirsten is a great communicator with both human and pets alike. She is responsive and flexible. We have decided to use her services weekly!
Excellent pet sitter! Hands down the best pet sitter I’ve hired! She goes above & beyond what’s expected & her love for animals shines through!! I highly recommend Kirsten to anyone needing someone to trust with their fur babies! 😊

Unfortunately I am living that apartment life so I can’t host any animals here. But I am willing to travel to you for home visits or dog walking! I believe in positive reinforcement with animals- getting angry at them is useless and does not help them!

It is useful to know about any medications, special needs, and history of anxiety/ aggression. I understand that dogs, like humans, communicate their emotions in ways that may be frustrating to us- I need to know how your dog will communicate with me so I can be supportive and safe for them!
A typical day
I love to walk and go to the park! I am located in Southwest Fort Wayne but I can travel up north Fort Wayne as well! I love to stay active and have a pretty good throwing arm too!
