Pet care experience
I'm Kirsten and I am an art graduate student who loves all fluffy animals! I grew up with 2 corgis and 6 cats at home! I have been around a lot of different pet personalities and I can read them pretty well. I have experience house/dog sitting for a few years. I'm usually very cuddly with animals and they are usually drawn to me. Someday I hope to have my own pet, but for now taking care of other dogs and cats fulfills that need for me. While taking care of your pet, I will give them as much love and affection as I possibly can. Even though I don't have much experience with older or younger pets, I am willing to give it a shot. Right now, my availability is pretty all over the place since I'm working around my part time job, and the shifts and hours change week to week. I am open most times during the day and some nights. Ask me for more specifics!

We felt so comfortable leaving our three cats with Kristen overnight in our home. Our Derby needed insulin shots twice a day and Kirsten handled him beautifully. Looking forward to having her sit again. We would highly recommend her!

Kirsten is really great with my two dogs. One is a puppy and still pretty rambunctious, wanting to jump up and Kirsten patiently works with her to get her to settle. My other dog is an older rescue dog who has trouble meeting new people but Kirsten has won her over. Patience and empathy are two important virtues and Kirsten has both. I fully recommend Kirsten to help take care of a family’s beloved pets.

I would like to know a bit about their personalties: what they like/don't like, if they like being fawned in attention or if they are usually standoffish. Are there any habits I should look out for? do they play rough?
A typical day
I usually try to walk a dog for 1/2 hour-hour if I can around the block or nearby local parks. If they are good off leash, I would take them to an open field or park to run around. If there are dog parks near by I would gladly take them to one too!
