Pet care experience
I'm Kirsten, a dog person through and through. I have taken care of animals all my life (grew up on a farm) and love to meet new furry friends. I've been a pet sitter for friends and family for 10+ years, taking care of small & large breed dogs. I also have a very friendly, energetic Italian Pointer who keeps me busy and who will be equally excited to spend time with your pup. I truly do this for my love of dogs and don't take multiple pets at once, so you can be assured that your dog will get quality care and attention.

Kirsten was a godsend for Frank, our dog. We had a long trip abroad and when our previous arrangement fell down, Kirsten, her husband and their dog Enzo jumped in to save the day (and our trip). They are extremely thoughtful people and gave Frank close attention all the time, with lots of walks, treats, playtime and love – while keeping us in the loop with pictures and messages. We felt like he was home, and Enzo was a great (and super sweet) companion for him... We cannot recommend Kirsten enough!
Kirsten is a fantastic pet caregiver! She’s proven herself to be such a capable and loving pet supervisor through her work with her own dog as well as every interaction I’ve seen her have with other pets. Her communication style is direct and clear which makes her customer service the best quality. I would highly recommend Kirsten.

I never leave dogs alone so your pup will be under constant supervision and getting the quality attention they deserve. I have a large apartment with space to roam and there is always water available (+food during meals) and most importantly LOTS of dog toys to play with. :)

Please let me know a bit about your dogs activity level, personality, any likes/dislikes or sensitivities. What is your dogs play style and are they friendly with other dogs?
A typical day
We love going to local dog parks or hikes in the Presidio. Neighborhood walks are always on the daily agenda too. When home I like to play games that are mentally stimulating like hiding favorite treats or toys around the room, practicing basic commands like sit/down/stay, and playing fetch with soft toys.

Availability
Taking care of your pup will be my full focus, and they'll join our typical routine with my dog. Frequent potty breaks, walks around the neighborhood/local parks and visiting the fenced dog parks (if your pup is okay with this).
