Pet care experience
I am strictly doing this as a side gig. I have a part time job at a vet clinic and I am a full time college student so I only do Rover as time permits. I am a Vet Tech student at Murray State University, so obviously animals are my passion. I’ve had my dog for almost four years and my cat for over a year and they are beyond spoiled and loved. I would be happy to perform any services for your dog, whether it’s grooming or walking or just playing. I am experienced with trimming nails, cleaning ears, and giving baths and I’ve also had training/practice with proper handling of dogs and cats. Since I am still in school, I am still learning more and more about caring for animals, so over time I will gain more skills and knowledge in the realm of caring for dogs (as well as other animals). Also, if you have other pets besides dogs you would like for me to care for, I do not mind and I would be happy to do so. I can’t wait to get this experience and meet lots of new fur babies! Thank you all for the consideration.

Kirsten was great! She responded immediately and came to Mayfield so she could meet our dog Flavius. More importantly, Flavius liked her right from the beginning. I would recommend her to anyone.
Kirsten is the only person that we have ever hired to watch over everything important to us. She watched over and stayed in our home to care for our Labrador with some special needs. She also gave attention to the cats above what they needed even though that wasn’t what she was hired to do. She was professional, attentive, and we feel fortunate to have found her.
We are more than thrilled with Kirsten. She is very good with our dog and her availability is beneficial to our hectic schedule. We will use her again.

Information Kirsten E. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preferences; all dogs are fine with me! I do like to take my dog anywhere that she’s allowed to go with me. She is like my child and if your dog is friendly with other dogs, I would like to bring my dog along with me, as long as it poses no issue. But if not, it’s no worry at all. I would also like to know how strong your dog is; is he/she difficult to walk on a leash? Do they have a tendency to chew on things besides chew toys? Are they house trained and/or crate trained? Would you mind me placing them in a dog crate if I happened to have to go somewhere for a short time? Any other info you can provide for me about your dog would be much appreciated. I am flexible and understanding, so don’t hesitate to let me know about any possible issues that could arise.
A typical day
If your dog likes going on car rides, I’d like to take them and walk them on campus at Murray State University. When the weather is warm, I like to go to the lake so if you allow it, I would love to take your dog to the lake with me! I also enjoy going to parks and just relaxing and enjoying the nice weather. Otherwise, I stay at home and watch movies and I would love to cuddle up and give your dog lots of love and belly rubs!! I love to make dogs happy because dogs make me happy!!
