I had a small special-needs long-haired chihuahua for 12 years and miss her. I have a mesh lined back yard, good for small dogs. Will be home full time and with the dog anytime they are outside. My neighborhood is gated and dog-friendly. I am familiar with senior and special needs dogs, including administration of medication. I will only be available periodically but usually for holidays. I prefer crate trained dogs but they are welcome on furniture and in bed based on your preferences. There are no pets or children in the home so dogs that require extra attention when children/pets are present will be fine. I'm also very good with shy or nervous dogs and will cater to their comfort level. I send pupdates daily.
