Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs since I was about 6 years old - I now have two of my own that are well behaved, get along with other dogs, love play dates, and group hikes. Our home is located near many incredible, dog-friendly, hiking trails and parks.

Kirby was very responsive to our needs! We spent 3 days in Leavenworth to enjoy the Christmas lights, and needed a dog sitter because our hotel was not pet friendly. Kirby provided great care and comfort as we dropped off "our little girl," sending us text updates and pictures to let us know all was well. Ava enjoyed her stay so much with Kirby, we had to coax her to leave! Highly recommend!
Stevie came home happy and tired. It was so nice to know Stevie was well taken care of while we enjoyed our vacation. We would definitely book with Kirby again!
Left my dog with Kirby for a quick trip! They had excellent communication and made drop off and pick up super easy! I could tell they took great care of my dog and gave her time and space to get comfortable. I could tell my dog had a great time!
Kirby made coordination a breeze and took wonderful care of my guy. Her location was also super convenient to central leavenworth. Highly recommend and would definitely trust her with Sullivan for future visits.

While our yard is not fenced we do have a secure balcony for dogs and have no problem leashing dogs for walks and bathroom breaks.

We have a senior dog that requires special food so we do all feedings separately. He takes allergy pills daily so both my husband and I are very well versed in how to give different types of medications and what to look for when caring for dogs that are prone to infection and rashes.
A typical day
We have a number of wonderful hiking trails behind our house ranging from 1 mile to 10 miles. We're also within walking distance to the parks in downtown Leavenworth and have friends at the nearby apartments and can access their dog park.

Availability
Both my husband and I work fully remotely and can adjust our schedules and hours as needed. We frequently are the go-to sitters for our friends and family and already take our own dogs on long daily walks and give them lots of playtime outside.
