Kira has always loved animals, and has always had a calming influence on them Her recent job at a kennel reinforced that when she was able to bond with even the most nervous or aggressive dogs. She is also observant and responsible. When she was taking care of a neighbors horses, she noticed that one of the horse's eyes was watering a little. The vet was called and the horse was found to have the start of an ulcer in the eye. The vet told the family that if it hadn't been caught early, the horse could have lost its eye. She also spent many years volunteering at a farm where she cared for horses, goats, pigs, and chickens. I would trust her with any animal, and know that the animal would get tremendous care and love!
