Pet care experience
When work, leisure, or family needs take you out of your home, you need someone reliable to take care of your pets. I have been pet sitting for neighbors and friends since high school. I typically house sit, but am open to dropping by throughout the day as my schedule permits. In addition to taking care of your pets' needs, I collect mail, shovel snow from sidewalks/ solar panels, and water your garden. I offer walks of various lengths, depending on the dog's size and your preference. If your dog is responsive off-leash, we can go to dog parks (Highbridge or Minnehaha). I can do daily drop-ins or overnight pet sitting for cats, depending on your budget and their needs. When I'm not pet sitting I work in environmental restoration and education.

Kira was fantastic!! This was our first time using a Rover sitter and our dog can be a little anxious/particular, so we were a tad nervous, but Kira's communication and updates instantly made us feel better! We feel Muskie was in great hands, and we could tell she trusted Kira (whereas our pup is usually suspicious of most people). I would HIGHLY recommend Kira to watch any dog, she gave Muskie great exercise and we were also so glad to have someone staying in our house. We were so thankful for the pictures & videos as well. Any dog would be lucky to have Kira watching them.
Highest rating. Absolutely fabulous in every way. I left my two senior special needs dogs in Kira's care for several days. I have one anxious blind dog and one tripawd. Kira took great care of them both. She was exceedingly conscientious and kind. She responded quickly to my booking request and follow-up questions. Kira is highly professional in her approach to the work and clearly cares about animals and their owners. She was a delight to work with and I didn't spend a second worrying that she wouldn't give my pups the highest care. I can't recommend her highly enough. She's a pro.

Availability
Restoration work is seasonal, so I have lots of free time to watch your pets. When I am working, I do have an 8-10 hour work day, which does tend to be better for cats and dogs with bigger bladders. That being said, I do stay in your home, which means all my non-work hours are spent with your pet.
