I adore dogs! I’ve been dog-sitting for the past five years and have experience with all kinds of pups—energetic, shy, curious, cautious. I love to take dogs on long walks in nature and notice what they notice! Each dog is different, with different needs, and I make sure to make a plan with the owners so I know how best to care for their pet and make everyone feel safe and loved!

Kira is a terrific pet caregiver! She is loving and responsible, and she enjoys taking care of them! She connects with them at their level, and will bring out their best, making sure they are properly fed, walked, loved, brushed, and entertained as needed. She loves taking dogs on long walks and even on runs, and she always picks up after the pets. She’s also great at playing with them. They always look excited to see her! My dog seems to think she’s the absolute best, and I’ve seen her bond with friends’ pets just as easily, regardless of their various personality types. Kira joined our family a few years ago to walk our golden retriever a couple times a week and occasionally to dog sit for weekends or longer as needed. She is lovely, responsible, attentive and a lover of dogs. We have been lucky to have her help us these past few years while she was a college student and post-grad fellow. Unfortunately, my apartment doesn’t allow dogs, but I’m happy to stay at yours or take your pup for a very long walk! I find that there’s isn’t one routine that works with every dog. Each dog is different! I like to make a plan with the owner to go through their dog’s needs and get a better understanding of how to best care for their pet! :)

In early July, I’ll be finishing up a yearlong fellowship but will be sticking around in the Upper Valley until September. Which means my schedule is extremely flexible! I’m able to take on recurring gigs or one-off dog sitting/walking needs.
