Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10, I grew up in a rural area taking care of dogs and occasional farm animals with friends. I have volunteered at veterinary offices while I was in high school, so I have some vet experience. I absolutely love animals and have two dogs of my own. They are a bit accident-prone, making me good at first aid. I will keep your babies happy and healthy while you are gone.

Kira watched our girl when we had to head out of state last minute. She sent pictures of her throughout the trip and even offered to pick her up. When my husband asked if we could leave early, she went out of her way to accommodate that change in the schedule. I know Lena had lots of fun! Thank you Kira!
I hired Kira to take care of my dog before she was on rover and Allie absolutely loved her. She took her swimming and to the dog park which Allie loves. She has a great personality and I would definitely recommend her to anyone else.

We have a big yard surrounded by trees that has lots of places to explore. Our home has a furnished basement so if there are ever any issues with dogs we can separate them while also letting them be out of a kennel. We also have a fenced off porch so dogs can sun outside and there is a lake just a short walk away for a fun swim day.

I would like to know if they are going to be loose in the home when I come or if they will be in a kennel. I do not have any breed preferences all dogs are welcome. I would like to know if they work well with strangers and would prefer open space to run in or a walk on a leash.
A typical day
We go to work pretty early but that means we are home around 3:30 everyday leaving plenty of time to play outside and maybe even walk to the lake to swim.

I have two dogs right now that love running around and playing in our big yard and woods. My husband and I’d scheduled are off just enough that allows dogs to not be alone for a full 8 hours.
