Pet care experience
I have experience pet sitting for both dogs (small and large) and cats, and grew up in a household with big dogs. Walking larger dogs is no issue, as I have been walking two leash excitable pit-bulls for years! I also recently worked at an animal shelter caring for both dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and needs. I’ve cared for a variety of animals my entire life, from birds to fish to mice and, of course, dogs and cats! I really enjoy caring for animals (and even plan for a career working with animals), and will be sure to give your animal the love, attention and exercise they need!

Kira is a very responsible caregiver. She even reached out to me when she had the opportunity to board another dog while she was caring for mine. I really appreciated this as many Rovers have claimed they are only caring for one dog at a time when in reality they are housing multiple. I highly recommend her!

I would love to know your dogs schedule and specific needs so I can provide the best care possible and maintain a schedule similar to what they are used to!
A typical day
I love to spend a lot of time outside with your pets either by going on fast pace walks for exercise, slower walks to let them take in the smells, or even with trips to the dog park if that is apart of their normal routine. I love a good walk to the park and will happily play fetch for as long as your dog wants!

Availability
I’m taking classes at Cal Poly so I am away for a few hours each day. I also work at a dog boarding facility 2 or 3 days a week. On Mondays I have class from 12-3pm and then from 4-5:30pm. Tuesdays I have class from 9-12pm and then 3-5pm. Wednesdays I have one class from 4-5:30pm but I often work in the mornings from 7am-12pm or from 10am-1pm. Thursdays I have class from 9-12pm. I often work Friday and Saturday mornings, but am around for the entire rest of the day after 12pm. Because I am only gone for a few hours at a time, I will be able to spend the rest of my time caring for your pets! These times are more of a reference for drop off times, or if you are specifically looking for your pet to be watched for only a couple of hours.
