I loved and adored two dachshunds growing up in my home and now, in my own family, have a beloved Australian Shepherd who knows she is just part of the family. I am a certified infant and toddler teacher (and a mother to two sweet young girls), so I am very accustomed to reading non-verbal cues and being very in tune to others' needs. I am naturally a very affectionate person who enjoys being active. Our family would just welcome your pup into our family for however long he or she would be with us. Make sure he or she is prepared for lots of love and attention (supervised, of course) from two loving little girls and lots of playtime in the backyard with us and our Aussie, River.
