We require for new pet/s to do a meet and greet at least 24hours prior to booking date to ensure the pet’s comfort in a new environment and possibly shows signs of any discomfort before their actual boarding date. (You can opt to leave your pet/s for 30 mins in our home during the meet and greet if your dog has never boarded before) I'm currently working as soldier in the U.S Army. My wife is a stay at home mom, she makes sure all of our future guest's pets are NEVER left unattended. Please note we do have 2 toddlers that also loves dogs as much as we do. We moved here to Monterey California Sept 2022 from Hawaii. We have been pet sitting together since Aug 2016 We have a maltipoo named Louie. He is very excited and energetic during the first meet but he learns to calm down after a few days especially towards older pets that we had in the past that don’t wanna play with him. He usually can take a hint after failed attempts if client’s pet doesn’t wanna play. I am a dog parent too and I know how it is to take care of your precious pet. Having first-hand experience on dog parenting gives me the familiarity about various needs and even separation anxiety that may result to: ( barking, accidents and vomiting). I believe in positive reinforcement training is the best way to train your pet and will not succumb to harsh punishment if they do something wrong under our care.
