Pet care experience
Growing up around dogs and cats developed my love and admiration for animals, which I hope to share with your pets as well. I'm currently a dog foster mom and volunteer at Berkeley Humane, and am a freelance digital creative by day. Berkeley Humane has equipped me with plenty of experience when dealing with different breeds, medical care of dogs in various conditions (anxiety, PTSD, shyness, senior and puppies)-- I truly enjoy making animal's lives better. Being a freelance creative and working remotely gives me great flexibility to give attention and plenty of TLC to your beloved pets! I am responsible, dependable, and most importantly hope to provide the best care for your pet while you are away. I'd love a meet and greet with your pet before any service, if that makes both you and the pet more at ease.

Kim did a great job with our high energy dog!
Kimson took absolutely great care of our beagle! He has a few particular needs, but she followed the detailed instructions and was great with communication. I loved the frequent updates and many photos. I know Magoo had a blast there and was well loved. He even went on a mini canine adventure.
Kimson is awesome. Before taking on the job, she texted me with questions about my dog's personality. When Hannah was shy and reluctant to go on her first walk, Kimson texted me for tips and patiently won Hannah over. Everything was in good order when I got back from my vacation.
Kimson is incredible!! I felt sooo comfortable leaving my dog JJ with her. Her home is stunning and has a huge yard that he loved. She sent tons of pictures and was so communicative and clear. She had JJ for 1 night and still managed to do so many fun activities with him, even took him to his favorite waterfront dog park. I will use her again and again for JJ care! Feeling super grateful and lucky to have found her :)

I have a fenced yard and green lush lawn where your pet can bask in the sun or relax on the back deck/porch. I live next to several parks with ample room to roam and also live in a quiet, safe, residential neighborhood where I'd love to walk your pet. At your home, I'd love to take your dog walking or exploring any area you'd recommend!

I'd love to know more about their demeanor, any quirks I should be aware of, mannerisms around other dogs / cats etc, and noise/bark level. I really love all dogs and don't have a breed preference -- I tend to prefer Small to Medium dogs over very large breeds.
A typical day
We will go on walks around the neighborhood, the Berkeley marina, some nearby hiking trails perhaps, and enjoy time in my backyard under shaded fruit trees :) Your pup is also welcome to sun-bask on my back patio deck or take a nap on my outdoor lounge couch (our favorite spot!)

Availability
A typical daily schedule would entail frequent breaks and venturing outside on hikes or walking to close parks, if you are boarding at my place we will be sun basking in the backyard or going on 1-2 walks around the south Berkeley neighborhood.
