Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Kim and small dogs are my favorite! I truly love caring for dogs and will make yours feel right at home. Treating dogs like a member of the family is important to me and it is the only way to raise a dog. I provide a loving, safe and comfortable home for your dog and will give him/her lots of care and attention! I currently live in a house with a fenced in backyard (very secure) and a large porch with outdoor furniture for lounging. When I am not playing in the yard with my dog (Fritz), you can find us laying in the sun on the porch. Warning: I will send multiple daily updates and photos of your pet!! I love to keep the owners updated as I know dogs are like children and it can be worrisome to leave your baby with a stranger! It's important to note that I have a dog, Fritz, who is a 7lb Yorkie and almost 4 years old. He gets along well with dogs that are smaller than him – which is pretty rare to find – but he will tolerate other small dogs. He is very sweet and not aggressive whatsoever – but he is selfish when it comes to his toys! Just a few specific preferences to keep in mind before choosing me as your sitter. Dogs must be small (under 15lbs), hypoallergenic, potty trained and must not suffer from separation anxiety. If you need a loving, attentive and caring sitter, look no further – I am the one for your small dog!
Reviews
Kim took care of my little morkie (Louis) really well. Louis has Inflammatory Bowel Disease so his diet is strict. He also nned his medication after dinner. Kim listened to my concerns and she is good with updating me how’s Louis doing. Will definitely come back!!! See ya
Kim used to baby-sit my senior Yorkshire Terrier, Dugan. She was very intuitive of his needs & brought him on several walks. The next dog I have I will be sure to reach out to her for any babysitting needs I have! Thanks again for all the help Kim! Small dogs rock!
I was a little hesitant to drop off my darling Dingus (Yorkie - Maltese) with Kim for the weekend, but when your barbershop quartet gets asked to sing at your high school alma mater's Autumn Festival, you do not say no. As the Tone Rangers and I prepared for an EPIC trip, I packed up a weekend bag for Dingus and dropped my little guy at Kim's apartment. First of all, I was made to feel much more relieved once I met Kim and had a chance to talk with her - a spotless apartment didn't hurt! Dingus and I said our goodbyes and I was a little sad to leave my best guy for a couple days, but I could tell right away that Dingus was about to make a new friend. As the weekend went on, the Tone Rangers and I rocked the house night after night as you would expect. But even as I was belting out alto-soprano solos, I couldn't help but get Dingus out of the back of my head. Was he okay? Was he sad? Most of all, did he miss me? Later, I got the chance to head back to the band's van and look at my phone. Kim had sent pictures of her and Dingus at the park, on walks, eating dinner, and generally having fun! I was so happy to see Dingy with a smile. I went back out on stage and sang my heart out with complete peace of mind. All of this is to say that I'm extremely satisfied with Kim's level of friendliness, cleanliness, and overall love of dogs. I could not ask for a better weekend and Dingy agreed - we will be asking Kim to dogsit again! In fact, all of this makes me so happy that I may need to sing it out! Pardon me while I get my tuning harmonica...
Kim is a great sitter. She is responsible, honest, and most of all loving towards dogs. She has a sweet spot in her heart for dogs but can not have one of her own at this time, sitting is beneficial to her at this stage in her life. She sat my two dogs on a recent visit and she complied to all my requests as far as diet and exercise. She would be my first choice in a sitter.

Small dogs - hypoallergenic please! I am very allergic to dogs that are not hypoallergenic and my dog doesn't love dogs that are over 10lbs.
A typical day
Our neighborhood has 2 nearby parks so if your dog is comfortable with walks, I am happy to take them out in the morning and evening. If the weather is nice, I can walk them during lunch as well. We also have a secure fenced in backyard that is great for playing and lounging on the porch in the sun.
