If I could, I’d rescue every dog in need and make sure they were taken care of for life. As it is, I settle for dog-sitting! I love dogs, and love interacting with as many as I can. I also love to get outside, be active, and play. The opportunity to pet-sit--and combine all my favorite things--is irresistible, and I’ve been doing it for many years. My two teenage sons love having dogs in our home. We usually have large dogs at home, many of whom have had special needs. I’ve owned Bull Mastiffs, Boxers, Airedales, and more. I’ve also helped my sister with walking and dog-sitting for the last 30 years. I have a very calming effect on animals and people, and after 25 years as a flight attendant, I also have the uncanny ability to make people laugh. I am steadfast and compassionate, but also adventurous and playful. Dogs in my care get lots of affection, and we’ll go out frequently to hike or to play at the dog park. I love reading, hiking, traveling, and spending time with my friends and family. And I love giving and receiving hugs and kisses! I have a corner home in Arcadia. The neighborhood has lots of shade for long, relaxed walks. It’s quiet, with minimal traffic, and I have a large fenced-in yard and doggie door that allows the pup all the flexibility they need to do what they’d like throughout the day. I do everything I can to remove excess stress from my life, and I do the same for the dogs in my care. I’m punctual, organized, and accommodating, and provide excellent customer service and communication with owners. I often spend more time with fur babies than people!
