Full-time TLC for your fur baby
Pet care experience
After my own dog Zoey passed away, I made it my mission to honor her by helping as many dogs as I could! I simply love being around dogs and have always felt a very strong duty towards doing everything I can to help them thrive. That’s why being a dog sitter is a dream come true for me! Not only do I get to help dogs out in need, I also get to provide peace of mind to owners in need as well! I have tons of experience working with dogs! Firstly, I am a volunteer with the Fox Valley Animal Welfare League, where I help animals recover after surgeries, assist with dental cleanings, and oversee immunizations. It’s one of the most rewarding experiences ever. Not only do I get to help animals be happy and healthy, I also get to learn so much about professional animal care. It’s an amazing time and I learn so much whenever I’m there. In addition to my volunteer work, I have lots of experience working with animals with health issues and am always happy to take in pups that need a little extra patience or TLC to thrive. My Zoey, a rescue pup, had a legion of health issues that I worked with all the time, so I’m very familiar with working with pups in this way. One of the best aspects about me as a sitter is that I a full-time puppy lover! I’ll be able to spend the entire day with your pup, which means that I’ll be a great fit for animals that are used to having a human presence around them. I’m also a great fit for pups that would benefit from that, as well! After all, no one likes having their pup kenneled up or crated while they’re away, so I’m here to make sure that they get all the love and freedom they need to feel happy and secure. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I’m a stay at home fur baby momma. I modify my daily routine based on the pup In my care. I started my Rover business to help other PAWrents who work or travel and want the peace of mind that their beloved fur baby is in the best, most comfy and loving environment. It’s home away from home. I have gates up that prevent escape artists from wiggling their way out. I take every possible measure to ensure your pets will be safe at all times.

Kim was FABULOUS!!! First time leaving our puppy with someone other than family and she loved and cared for him like her own. Kim sent us daily photos and updates that put our hearts at ease. She made the whole process smooth from beginning to end. Our puppy was so happy, we will definitely use Kim again.
We were SO blessed to have found Kim. This was our first time leaving our teacup Yorkie with someone other than family and I could not have asked for a better caregiver than Kim. She is a loving and kind person and showed so much love and care to our little Star as shown through the many updates and pictures she provided. Star also enjoyed her time with her new friends, Lulu and Maise. We have found our new babysitter for sure!
Very happy repeat customer! Always happy that my dog feels like he's on vacation when I'm on vacation. Gives me peace of mind! Kim is so caring and I'm glad my dog is in such good hands.
Kim is great. She treats our dog as one of her own. We got some great updates and lots of pictures. We’ll definitely be looking to her when we have to leave on our next vacation.

I live in a townhome so I don’t have a fenced in yard but I do have plenty of areas to take long walks to with your pup. I have entry gates at all access doors in my home as a precautionary. No escapees while I’m my care!

Some things I like to learn ahead of time: - Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? - Does your pup get along well with other dogs? (I have 2 female Maltese pups) - What’s your preferred method of communication? - Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? - If your pup is a puppy (under 1 year old) are they fully potty trained? On a pee-pad, outside only or both (pee-pad and outside potty trained? - Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? - Is your dog spayed/neutered? - Is your pup up to date on all their vaccinations? - Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? - What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? - Has your pup received any formal training? Knows any tricks? - Is your pup crate trained? Does he/she need to be crated if I leave them alone for a brief period of time? Does your pup sleep in a crate at night? - What’s the best way to spoil your pup?
A typical day
I love to get out and about, so finding great things to do will never be a problem. When it comes to pups, there are tons of things for us to do, aside from playing with my two fur baby girls, I like to get out and take lots of walks. I’m happy to work with pups of all energy levels and accommodate their needs, no matter what!
