Would you believe me if I told you I’m around animals close to 24/7! From having my own pets from the age of 8 and now with my lovely career.. I’m living the dream! I’m an active veterinary assistant with a background in shelter and emergency medicine. Skilled in administering medications/treatments such as oral, topical, subcutaneous fluids and as well as injectable medication (except insulin - although open for discussion). Knowledgeable on basic husbandry needs My main purpose is to give your pet a stress free experience not only for them but for yourself as well and provide you that peace of mind. I am super reliable, trustworthy, mature and caring! I believe these are the qualities that I best describe myself and if that’s someone you’re looking for, I look forward to hearing from you soon! NOTE: ***I work full time therefore a few notes consider*** any bookings that require key pick up (if not done at meet and greet) AND key return outside of service dates will be charge a fuel surcharge (having a key box is ideal) *** SERVICING AROUND THE/NEAR AREAS OF KANATA-STITTSVILLE/NEPEAN-WESTBORO- BARRHAVEN/HUNTCLUB AND FINDLAY CREEK/SOUTH GLOUCESTER *** house sitting = This service consists of NOT 24HR CARE during daytime hours (due to other commitments/bookings) and work shifts (between work and travel aprox I’ll be away for 9hrs). Preferred animals in my care are those that do not experience/have separation anxiety/need full attention/not able to be alone for a few hours as those that do, deserve to be cared for properly, which I cannot provide at this time I am allergic to small animals (rabbits, Guinea pigs, rats etc) therefore I’m unavailable to provide care/with homes consisting of them Drops in: can be anything from cleaning litter boxes, feedings/quick potty break (in and out - no full 30 min walks) to just overall playtime. Kimberly does a great job this is our 2nd time booking her and will continue as long as she will help us out. a positive experience includes a well understanding of any behaviour/medical concerns to not only keep myself safe but your animal as-well (I am not a trainer nor a behaviourist but will work with the best of my capabilities. *very experienced with shy/fearful cats. Any preferences to keep both parties happy such as feeding, medical and general instructions. Communication/transparency is KEY
A typical day
Lots of care and attention, walks around the neighborhoods. lots of enrichment games/stimulation and basic training techniques. What the client prefers and it shall be done.

no secrets here as mentioned, currently an active veterinary assistant therefore scheduling will be worked around my shifts (98% of the time my shifts are from 730 am - 4 pm) and days off to ensure I can provide the best quality of care
