Pet care experience
I have been dog sitting for quite a few years, mostly just friends/family and through word of mouth. I have always been a huge dog person and lover. I don't think I've ever met a dog that I didn't bond with. I used to volunteer with the humane society, which I still do but mostly events. Volunteering actually taught me more skills with dogs, specifically training. I'm happiest when I'm with dogs, specifically my own. He is a rescue from the Truckee humane society and was the best choice I ever made. I hope to meet your furry friends soon!

Thanks for the update and photos. He clearly enjoyed the company when he puts his head between the legs for pets.
Kim was excellent with my dog Smokey. She can clearly handle a large dog and gave my dog the attention he needed while I was away. I will look for Kim again if I need another sitter.

A typical day
I typically just walk through our neighborhood as there are sidewalks everywhere. Then we like to finish at the park for a little free roam if possible.

Availability
I work full time, Monday through Friday 8-5. On Mondays and Tuesday, I work from home and have a little more flexibility. Wednesday-Friday I work in Truckee so am less available. My dog is very friendly and loves to join on walks if your pets are friendly as well. I have meetings here and there that are outside of my regular hours, but I've always been able to make it work while dog sitting.
