I started dog walking/pet sitting when I was 16 and I love it. I've had various pets growing up; Dogs, cats, birds (cockatiels, parakeets, cockatoos, African grey), hamsters, and small snakes. I have also taken care of rats, guinea pigs, ferrets, hedgehogs, and salamanders. I am comfortable handling most any animal and I do understand that most small animals will nip or bite at some point. And that's ok. Humans can be pretty scary to small animals and sometimes our fingers just look tasty. I have some experience lightly grooming animals. I can do bathing, drying, brushing, nail trims, and paw hair trims. I've also leash trained puppies and a few older dogs. I have experience teaching a few basic commands like "sit", "lie down", "roll over", and "speak".
