Pet care experience
I have lived with dogs my entire life and love them. I know the patience it takes to care for any dog, from puppy to senior, well-behaved to rambunctious. For several years, I have worked with members of my family in various house-sitting and drop-in jobs for all kinds of pets. I am new to Seattle with little in my schedule outside of my daily work, and I don’t mind waking up early for walks or visits. So I’m relatively flexible. I understand that dogs are family members, and I will treat them as such (and give them plenty of treats, with the owners’ permission!). If you have any other questions about my skills or experience or anything not mentioned here, please feel free to ask away. Also: I love cats. If you have kitties you need me to take care of, let me know.

My cats loved her! I plan on booking with her again
Duke and Molly absolutely love Kimberly. She takes great care of them while I'm away.
Kimberly is great! My dogs love her. She sent pics of them while I was gone. I will have her watch my pups again. Thank you Kimberly!!
Kimberly has been around pets literally her entire life. Our family had 2 indoor dogs when Kimberly was born. Being she is now 21yrs old those dogs are no longer living but we now have 4 other indoor dogs. Ours range in size from 9lbs to 60lbs. And range in age from 2yrs to 17yrs. And she helps to care for them. She herself also owns and cares for her cat and her tortoise. I was a PetNanny for years during which kimberly and her sister help me on a weekly basis. Her younger sister who doesn’t turn 18 until November has taken over my PetNanny duties. And Kimberly helps her as well.

I currently cannot accept clients' pets into my home (we have plenty fur babies of our own!), but I'll meet new friends where they are. I follow routine and instructions easily, as I like to make sure pets remain comfortable in their usual day-to-day.
Information Kimberly M. would like to know about your pet
I would like a chance to meet pets (and owners if possible) before taking care of them. A dog's social and energy needs are also important. Is your dog anxious/shy, and if so, what's the best way to approach them? Are they rambunctious, and what's your preferred way of channeling that energy or calming them down?
A typical day
I will play fetch and tug-of-war 'til the end. Walking is one of my personal favorite activities, so I have no problem taking your dog out to enjoy nature!

Daily, I care for my own pet(s) (cat, assisting with family's dogs). It's a job that is its own reward. I think of my cat as my baby. I do this outside of my 9-5, but most weekends, evenings, and the occasional half-Friday, I have ample time to spend with my pets and others'. I am also willing to house sit, provided I am reasonably able to commute to my full-time job from a client's home.
