I have two dogs, a 9-year old Schnauzer that I adopted when he was 5, and a two-year old chocolate lab that I've had since he was a puppy. I've learned how to train a dog coming from a previous home, as well as learned how to train a highly energetic chocolate lab puppy. My lab puppy and I are still currently in training and will hopefully be able to join the Therapy Dog ranks one day soon. My two dogs are complete opposites of each other and require very different physical, social, and emotional care, which I have learned how to manage and provide. I know over the course of the past four years I have gained imperative skills that are required to be a Rover walker.
