My passion for animals started when I was very young. When I was 12, I started dog sitting for family and friends, and continued to do so through college. I'm happiest when I am with animals, whether I'm spending time with my own dog, pet sitting or even volunteering at the local shelter. Basically, if there are animals involved, I'm happy. I love making connections with pets and I can't wait to meet yours. From 2006 to 2008,I volunteered at the San Antonio humane society. My duties as a volunteer were to clean the kennels, fill water and food bowls, walk and play with the dogs, and any other tasks that needed to be done. This experience taught me about a variety of dog breeds. I've looked after everything from Australian cattle dogs, to rottweilers, pitbulls, to tiny pups like shih tzus. and chihuahuas. I even looked after a wolf-dog hybrid. I'm a great sitter because I have extensive experience caring for dogs. I've cared for multiple dogs at a time, sometimes as many as 10 or 15! Their owners had lists of their dogs daily routines that included everything from walks to bath time and I followed it to a T. In addition to the dogs I would also look after their other pets like hamsters, gerbils, cats, turtles, fish, birds, and rabbits. So if you have other furry friends, don't worry! I can care for them too. Its really rewarding to know that my clients put so much trust in me to look after their pets. Many pet owners, including myself, don’t see animals as just pets, we see them as family members and some even call them their children!
