I have worked as a vet tech for 4 years in the past... I have been involved in animal rescue for about 25 years and I have worked as a dog walker/pet sitter for about 15 years. I have 3 rescue dogs of my own... A rescued Pit Bull, a rescued deaf American Bulldog and a rescued Catahoula Leopard Dog. I have volunteered with Texas Humane Legislation Network to help make animal laws stronger in Texas for all animals. I believe dogs truly are MANS BEST FRIEND as well as angels here on earth. I genuinely enjoy being around all animals. I have cared for cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, turtles, rabbits, hamsters, mice, rats, fish, birds and I am open to any other furry friend you may have! My goal is to treat your pets as if they were my own - and that means spoil them with love and attention! You should have no worries when you leave your pet at home.

Kimberly was wonderful, punctual and very thorough on her visits. Can’t recommend her enough. My pup is a 10 year old 75 lb pitty and she handled him with no issues. I will be using her for any/all dog sitting I need in the future. This was my first time using rover and It was a very clear success. This option is 100 times better than boarding my dog in a crowded kennel with other dogs.

I do not care for dogs in my home but when I am in your home I always make sure to follow your instructions precisely, I always make sure your yard is secure and I always make sure your pet is safely restrained/leashed when opening doors and/or going outside for walks. I avoid encounters with other dogs on walks just to be safe and I never allow your dog to be off leash when outside of your home or fenced yard.

It is helpful to know how your dog is on leash prior to walks... If they have any quirks, fears or aggressions. How they are when they see another dog or cat. Basically any information you would like to give me so that your dog enjoys our time together is helpful!
A typical day
I make sure your dog has plenty of time outside, whether it be walking/running through the neighborhood or playing with a ball or just laying in the grass. I try to shower your dog/pet with as much attention as I can in the time during my visit. Lots of pets... Treats if that's allowed... And just tons of love. I know that most times your dog/pet is missing you so I try to ease the stress and anxiety as much as I can while you are gone.
