If you're looking for a compassionate, respectful, fun-loving caregiver and companion for your beloved furry friend, you've come the right spot! It is a great joy and privilege to be able to care for your pet(s) in your home when you are away. I see your pets like you do – they’re family! – and that’s how I will treat them. As a native from Colorado, I have a great love of the outdoors, so I especially love taking your dog outside, whether it's for a walk, run, hike or out for some fun at the dog park. And of course your animal will be showered with extra love and attentiveness to ease any anxiety they might have, with plenty of play, belly rubs, brushing, and snuggling (should your pet be so inclined!) They will be so well cared for they hardly will have a chance to miss you! I have a flexible schedule and I always keep my calendar up to date. I am willing to work with you on adjusting my schedule to accommodate your needs. Just ask! A little about me...I'm a long time animal-lover. My entire childhood and adult life have been graced by the presence of dogs and indoor cats, all of which I have shared a special bond with. I feel so fortunate to have grown up in a home that nourished my adoration of animals while cultivating a life-long sense of respect, responsibility, and care for all living creatures. I began petsitting in high school for my neighbors and I worked as a nanny throughout college, caring for a family that had a Great Dane. Since moving to Los Angeles 5 years ago, I have provided petsitting services for many friends who have to travel for work. Additionally, I have provided personal assistance in clients' homes, which (much to my joy!) sometimes includes dog walking and pet care. Working as a professional personal assistant has taught me a lot about going with the flow of a particular household, respecting household rules, and making sure I am very clear on the client's wishes and desired outcomes. This is a skill that I bring with me when I come to your home to care for your pet(s) while you are away. My personal goal is to give you and your animal the best pet sitting experience possible. Kimberly was fantastic. I have two picky cats who don't usually come up to a stranger but when Kimberly sat on the floor, they both came up to her. They were crazy about her. I would not hesitate to use her again. She did a great job taking care of them.
Kim was great! We had her sit for our dog and two cats while we were out of town for the weekend. She won them al over right away, even our anti-social cat! She took such good care of our babies while we were away, gave them lots of attention and even took our dog on a hike and hung out with him in the backyard. She sent us cute photos and was in touch at several points over the weekend when we checked in. She is wonderful. We'd definitely recommend her!
I have used Kimberly to take care of my dog and kitties. She is truly an animal lover and understands the concept that pets are family. She is caring and engaging and genuinely enjoys spending time with my furry family. In addition to her caring nature, she takes the responsibility for the care of your pets very seriously. Whether your pet needs specialized attention such as administering medication or likes to go for long walks or runs she is the girl for the job. My labrador Charlie has a huge anxiety when it comes to being left with someone, let along over night and without me. Kimberley was a huge LIFE SAVER. She completely put my 2 year lab at ease and took her time with him. I was surprised how calm and in-control Kimberley was around our pup. I also liked the fact that she went over more than once about everything we needed her to do when it came to taking care of Charlie. I felt at peace and at ease with leaving her and Charlie. She also happens to have an easy going personality and she is a very knowledgable animal lover. I LOVED!! that she was very thorough about asking me about his allergies and behavior triggers. Needless to say we never went to anybody else after Kimberley.

How are they around other animals and children? Do they have any problem behaviors that need special attention? Do they have any allergies? Do they have a past history of abuse? What are their favorite activities? Understanding your dog's unique personality and needs allows me to provide optimal care.
A typical day
I try to adapt my dog-sitting style based on an individual client's needs. Above all, I want to foster an atmosphere of trust, safety, and comfort for all parties involved. I am happy to share a bed with your dog if this is allowed in your home, as well as stay in the same room as a dog that is crated at night. I will always spend a lot of quality time with your pet either in the home or outside doing their favorite activities -- walks around the neighborhood, backyard play, hikes, car rides, or trips to the dog park. The way I utilize my time is based on the client's and the dog's preferences.
