I have always had a heart for animals from a small child. I feel that animals are a lot like humans and they have fellings just like us. My grandfather used to tell me a story of when I was a child that made him realize I would always be an animal lover. Growing up, my grandparents had a german shepard that lived outside in a dog house. Apparently, I didn't like that. I was about 5-6 years old and it was winter time with snow on the ground. I went out to visit the dog and he was shivering because he was cold. So I went inside and asked my grandfather for one of his big shirts. I didnt tell him it was for the dog, instead, I told him it was for me because I was cold. I took the shirt out and put it on the dog so he wouldn't be cold anymore. Needless to say, my grandfather wasn't happy with me because his white shirt was now all dirty. He was angry and told me that the dog has fur for a reason but I argued that the fur wasn't enough because he was shivering and he was sad. I still treat animals the same now that I'm an adult. Animals love warm snuggles just like we do.
