As a teacher of students with special needs with PInellas County Schools; a mom; and a devoted owner of dogs, cats, gerbils, turtles, eels, fish, hamsters and an iguana over many years, I understand the extreme importance of having pets in our lives. I am currently a "dog mom" of two rescue litter mates that are going on 12 years of age. These two retriever mixed dogs who came to us at 9 weeks of age have enriched my life and my sons' lives, providing us with laughter and love during some of our happiest and most challenging times. Along with my love for animals, I have an excellent work history, and take all of my responsibilities seriously. During the school year, I am able to provide early morning, late afternoon and evening visits/walks. During the summer, my schedule is very flexible and open. I can provide weekend care all year round! I am a strong advocate for those that cannot speak for themselves -- particularly children and animals. Additionally, I am a volunteer with TURTLE TRACKERS for St. Pete Beach, a non-profit organization dedicated to sea turtle conservation. I will care for your animals like they are part of my family!
