House of Paws welcomes your pup with open paws where your dog can be a dog! Hi! My name is Kim! A little about myself, I am a mom of two boys ages 9 & 11 and a 2 year old little girl. We are also expecting another baby girl in May. I take pride in what I do. I have 5 years of professional experience and about 20 years of personal experience. I take my job very seriously and love every pet as if they were my own. My children are animal lovers and my youngest is learning how to properly treat her fellow feline / canine companions. I’ve also been around dogs and cats my whole life. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, ages, and special needs. With such experience , I have made the unfortunate decision to no longer board pitbulls, however, drop ins are still welcome for them. Having pets myself, I completely understand how tough it can be leaving them behind. I would love to help take that stress away any way I can. We are currently under a little renovation process as we prepare for our baby girl so please excuse us during that process. A little about my operation and some requirements that I have in place… My environment is best for socially active pups as they have a doggy door and large yard to enjoy. Size and age does not matter. I socialize dogs according to their size and temperament. I do this professionally and have 5 dogs of my own ranging in size and breed and have experience caring for multiple dogs. Their safety and well-being are my number one priority. Dogs will need to be kennel trained or in the process of kennel training. During their stay your pup will get to enjoy making friends, playing in mud, playing in water, bubbles, having access to a doggy door and ALL in a home not a facility. Going home baths are available for an additional cost. They will all have a place to eat and sleep of their own. Please respect that this is a family operated business out of my home and I do my best to meet all of your needs while juggling a personal life of my own. Please stick to your scheduled pick up and drop off time to help keep things smooth! I do not leave dogs outside when I’m not home. I carry a very flexible schedule. Schedule is subject to change based on the needs of myself and my family but dogs get potty and play breaks every 2-4 hours but can let them out more frequently if needed. You will receive photo updates at least once a day, if not more. The photos I have uploaded are the type of photos you will receive for reference. You can also see all current and previous clients enjoying their time with us. Please feel free to ask for updates if you're feeling concerned or simply just missing them. I no longer accept drop-offs/pick-ups earlier than 7 am or later than 7 pm to allow for things to quiet down. The only items needed for your pup to stay is their food, preferably labeled. All dogs must come with a collar or harness on for safety reasons. Meet and Greets are welcome upon request but they are not required.
